First of all I extend all my regardful thanks to respected Smt. Sonia Gandhi Ji & Sh. Rahul Gandhi Ji for having faith and confidence in me to have handed over the responsibility of Chairmanship of SC Department of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. I am highly grateful to Sh. K Raju Ji (Chairman, SC Department AICC) and the whole team of SC department who have guided me to do certain very good gestures for the welfare of Dalits in Punjab in the past which made them have confidence in me to serve and fight for the right of Schedule Castes in Punjab.

In my message to the whole dalit community of Punjab as well as those who are concerned/responsible directly or indirectly for the welfare and rights of dalits, I want to make this clear that I'll be going all out at any cost to fight for the rights and dignity of all the dalits of Punjab and no compromise whatsoever of any kind will not be acceptable at all. My only and only agenda will be to work on the guidelines and standards set up by our mentors and icons like 'Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ji Amedkar', 'Savitri Bai Phule' and 'Babu Jagjivan Ram Ji' who led their lives only working for 'Saman Samaj' or 'Equal Society'. I know that the vested interests of our present day politician incline them to go on doing injustice to the interests of Dalits many a times but my struggle and battle will be to expose all such intentions and acts and to bring back the dignity and respect of the crushed and ignored community of the society.
